New Features & Enhancements

Advanced Search Redesign

The search bar and Advanced Search have been redesigned across LeaseAccelerator with an updated layout and visual styling.

Search Bar Updates:

  • Search form controls (input fields, dropdowns, date pickers, and action buttons) have been updated across both the Deals and People/Contacts search forms. It now includes a magnifying glass icon.
  • Advanced Search is now represented by a sliders icon positioned to the right of the search input field.

  • Separate Search button removed. Trigger searches by pressing Enter, clicking the magnifying glass icon, or selecting from Recent Searches

Advanced Search Form Enhancements:

  • Form controls including input fields, dropdowns, and date pickers updated across Deals and People/Contacts search forms for improved usability
  • Form layout refined with consistent spacing and field organization

Results Table and Actions:

  • Results table restyled with updated tab styling, row and header formatting
  • Pin Results button has been added above the results table (previously represented as a pin icon).

  • Search and Related Deal icons moved to dedicated Actions column at the end of each row

For more details, see Advanced Search Experience User Guide.

RFP Administrator Role

A new RFP Administrator access role is now available in Access Control. Users assigned this role receive email notifications at RFP milestones including RFP creation, release to marketplace, proposal submission, and proposal re-submission.

Attached Documents Report

The Attached Documents report is now available under the Reporting - Administrative tab. The report provides visibility into documents attached at the schedule level. Use it to confirm that every schedule has required documentation on file and to conduct period-based reviews such as quarterly or annual audits. Access is restricted to Power Users and LAStaff by default. For more details, see Attached Documents User Guide.

Landing Dashboard

The Landing Dashboard has been transitioned to the v2 platform and is accessible directly from the Home screen. The dashboard provides a real-time, consolidated view of your lease portfolio with seven analytical panels covering lease status, classification, financial balances, expenses, and end-of-term activity. Many panels support interactive drill-through reporting to allow deeper analysis without leaving the dashboard.

Note: Non-classified schedules are not included in the resulting data. An update to include non-classified schedules for applicable panels is scheduled for a future release.

Known Limitation: The Ledger, Business Unit, and Entity dropdown parameters do not support in-dropdown search in this release. Scroll to locate your selection. This will be addressed in a future release.

REM-LAM Reconciliation Report Enhancements

The REM-LAM Reconciliation Report has been enhanced with new parameters, financial columns, and improved filtering capability.

What's New:

  • Two new parameters, As At Date and Show Terminated Deals - allow reconciliation as of a specific point in time and the option to include terminated deals.

  • Four new financial columns tagged with their source system:
  • Current Cost (REM)
  • Transaction Currency (REM)
  • Current Payment Acctg (LAM)
  • Transactional Currency (LAM)

  • Lease End Date (LAM) column now displays the effective end date rather than the original end date for accurate lease date comparisons between systems.

EOT Event - Pending Approval Guardrail

For clients with Segregation of Duties (SOD) enabled for EOT Events, nightly maintenance now checks for any pending EOT event approval before automatically recording a new end-of-term event. This prevents duplicate EOT events from being created while one is already pending approval. This applies to all EOT treatment types: Terminate without Fee, Evergreen, Renewal, Return, and Buyout.

Previously, nightly maintenance could create a duplicate EOT event, requiring manual cleanup.

Asset Event Recording - High-Asset Deals

Users can now successfully select assets and record all event types on deals with 1,500 or more assets without timeouts or page failures. Event types include impairments, renewals, returns, and buyouts.

Previously, selecting assets and saving events on high-asset deals caused timeouts and page failures.

Ledger Export Performance

Additional performance improvements have been made to the Ledger Export, allowing it to run more quickly and reliably.

Transaction Report v2 - Status Columns

The Transaction Report v2 status columns have been updated for clarity. The changes include:

  • The Status column between DealID and Lessee is removed.
  • The Short Status column is renamed to Deal Status Short
  • The Status column between Current Payment and Vendors is renamed to Deal Status Long.

Product Improvements

Lease Abstract Report - Payment Schedule

The Lease Abstract report now shows a single entry per payment period in the payment schedule. Previously, leases with a payment date other than the first of the month displayed an additional $0 row for each period.

Finance Lease - Depreciation Before Available for Use Date

When the Lease Start Date is earlier than the Available For Use Date (AFUD), the system no longer generates an erroneous monthly depreciation entry with posting code 502. Depreciation is now only generated from the date the asset is available for use.

Previously, the system incorrectly generated a posting code 502 entry calculated as the total prepaid rent transferred to the Finance Lease asset divided by the remaining term as of AFUD.

Renewal Payment Date - February Renewals

Renewal payment schedules now correctly maintain the original day-of-month through and after February renewals. Previously, when a lease with a payment date of the 28th had a renewal period beginning in February of a non-leap year, the system incorrectly shifted all subsequent renewal payments to end-of-month dates (March 31, April 30, etc.)

Note: Deals previously affected by this issue will be automatically identified and repopulated as part of a post-processing step following deployment. No manual action is required.

Maturity Analysis Report - Future-Dated Payment Adjustments

The Maturity Analysis Report (MAR) now correctly includes future-dated non-remeasuring payment adjustments recorded as of the report's AsAt date. The difference between the original and adjusted payment amounts now appears in the Variable Payments column by year. Previously, these adjustments were excluded from the MAR output, causing a discrepancy between the MAR and the Lease Extract for the same AsAt date.

RFP Release Emails - Chosen Lessors Only

When a user releases an RFP to chosen lessors only, the release email now goes exclusively to those lessors. Previously, LeaseAccelerator staff accounts were also included on the distribution list when releasing to chosen lessors only.

Report Retirements

The following reports have been retired with the 26.3 release. Use the v2 versions of these reports going forward:

  • User Activity Log
  • Transaction Report

Note: Scheduled reports based on the original versions should be rescheduled using the corresponding v2 reports.
