Deal Snapshot

Download Design Studio Guide

This template is supported by the BVDealAttributes Business View. It is a 2-page report that includes a few of the most popular schedule-level attributes as of report generation date that can be validated against the Deal Summary and other operational reports such as the Portfolio Transaction report and the Operational Payment Report. Many additional schedule-level attributes can be added to the report through the associated Business View.

The template does not include an AsAt date. Values are based on the system date of report generation.

It is located under the Design Studio tile in the Reporting workspace.

Below is an example of the parameters included in the Deal Snapshot report.

Report Parameter Definitions – Deal Snapshot

Parameter

Definition

Schedule

Available filtering on a single or multiple specific schedule(s). The wildcard character (*) can be used to isolate a specific group of schedules.

Lease Lifecycle Status

Available filter of aggregated deal statuses.

Note: Origination and PreOrigination values are included in preparation of additional enhancements scheduled for late 2026.

Entity

Available filter of client-defined Entities via drop-down menu. Only one Entity can be selected at a time.

Business Unit

Available filter of client-defined Business Units via drop-down menu. Only one Business Unit can be selected at a time.

Ledger

Filter of client configured ledgers via a drop-down menu. Only one ledger can be selected at a time. Not a required field.

Note: If no ledger is selected, the report employs the same logic used to display the Deal Summary payment schedule.

Changes Made From

Month-Day-Year fields. Calendar widget appears after Month field populated. Available filter to isolate schedules with deal or asset level changes recorded with system dates during the selected date range.

Results are displayed across two pages: Deal Snapshot and Parameters. Use the Go To option in the menu bar to switch between pages.
Unlike accounting-based reports, the Ledger parameter is not required for this report. As a result, subsequent parameters are not dynamic and do not adjust available options based on the selected ledger.

Since this report displays schedules regardless of their status (when the Status parameter is not applied), schedules in Disposed or Terminated status will show a zero for the Final Payment.

If an RC-EOT Option has not been recorded for a schedule and the field is blank on the Deal Summary, the value will also appear blank in the report.

Data elements with multiple values are comma-separated, except for the GL Segment assigned to the Account Description, which will display as "##ACCOUNT##".
