Issue

The Mos Remaining calculation is inconsistent due to a lack of clarity on whether the month of the AsAt date should be counted as a remaining month.

When generating the BU Asset Report.

How does the issue manifest?

The Mos Remaining calculation may be incorrect. The majority of test results show the value to be overstated by one month.

Recommended Solution

Insert a new column near the Mos Remaining value in which to add an Excel calculation comparing the difference in the AsAt date and the Effective End Date. This can then be compared to the reported value in the Mos Remaining column.
